Welcome readers and writers

Welcome fellow readers and writers! I’m thrilled to be kicking off this dedicated website where I’ll be focusing on my writing and aspirations of becoming a career children’s book author.

I have been editing children’s picture books for over ten years. I love talking craft with fellow writers from all walks of life, working on manuscripts in all stages of development. Writing can be such a solitary experience, and editing provides me the opportunity to collaborate, to get excited about words, ideas, stories, with other people who are just as passionate as me.

Over the past three years I’ve had a handful of my own ideas and stories rise up and spill out onto the pages. How exciting! I’ve found fabulous critique partners that are all aspiring for the same—we encourage and help each other craft engaging stories for children. How fun!

I’m now actively querying and putting my work out there. How scary! But I’m loving every minute.
